Join us on Thursday, October 24th, 2019, for Spokane Riverkeeper’s third annual fundraiser SPOKEN RIVER. Once again you’ll be treated to authors giving readings of their works focused on the Spokane River.

Come hear The Salish School of Spokane with a featured student reader reading an original piece. Also:
- Ben Goldfarb author of Eager: The Surprising, Secret Life of Beavers and Why They Matter.
- Jack Nisbet: Local author of many volumes including Sources of the River, and David Douglas: A Naturalist at Work
- Sarah Conover: Author of several books including Katha Sagar, Ocean of Stories: Hindu Wisdom for Every Age
- Ellen Welcker: Poet and author of many books of poetry including Ram Hands
Additionally, The Coeur d'Alene Tribe and Salishan Sturgeon Nose Canoes will have several traditional canoes on hand.

You’ll also learn about the work of the Spokane Riverkeeper and hear about how you can get involved and support it.
