Interships

The Spokane Riverkeeper offers unpaid internships for motivated, independent individuals.  Interns are required to work more than four hours per week and must commit a minimum of a quarter/semester.  In return, the intern will get real life work experience at a local non-profit, an education on local environmental issues, and if applicable, credit towards a degree (check with your advisor).  Plus it's a lot of fun!  Successful interns are usually students, although we welcome all inquiries to our program.  The Spokane Riverkeeper can either advise on an independent project related to the river or the Riverkeeper can assign projects to the intern as needed.  Contact the Spokane Riverkeeper today to learn more!
