The Spokane River is the conduit to making connections. Our event called Spoken River features moving stories about the powerful relationships we have with the Spokane River. You’ll hear about its past, its present and the hopes for its future from insightful storytellers in our community. This year, will be focusing on the visions and actions of the Upper Columbia Tribal efforts to return salmon to our rivers for cultural and ecological recovery. Salmon recovery will be a win for every person and community in our basin. The stories you hear are in support of the Tribal leadership in fish recovery efforts.

The event will be available to everyone to watch live for FREE. And a recorded version will be available for those who could not attend or watch.

The live in-person event is limited to 75 max capacity. All sponsor levels at Clean River Advocate and above receive a ticket(s) to the event. Food and drink will be provided. See the sponsor flyer link for more details about becoming a sponsor.

In-person event is largely dependent on local and state requirements and guidance for COVID-19. A decision will be made by Oct 5 whether we’re a “go” or “no-go” for the in-person portion.
