What a night! Spoken River brought our community together in the most incredible way, and we’re still buzzing from the energy in the room. Spoken River is our annual celebration of art, story, and river protection. From the first drumbeat to the final round of applause, the evening was filled with connection and a shared commitment to the water we all depend on.

We’re deeply grateful to Kirsten Stobie for her beautiful live painting, to The River Rockers, Olivia and Scott Brownlee, and the Salish School Drum Group for filling the space with music and movement, and to Cutboard Studio for capturing the night on film. And of course, heartfelt thanks to our storytellers and poets: Louis Bates, Eleanor Limmer, John Nelson, Ben Van Voorhis, and Leah Welki. Your words carried the river’s spirit and reminded us why this work matters.

A huge thank you as well to our sponsors, donors, volunteers, and every single guest who joined us. Your presence turned this gathering into something powerful.

Together, in just one evening, your collective energy and voices helped safeguard 73 miles of river.

We’re excited to share some of our favorite highlights and photos—relive the night below!
